Sounds of Horror is run by composer Richard Pryn. If you have a question about your data, email [email protected].
The short version
- This site has no accounts and no forms that collect your details.
- It sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising trackers.
- Visitor numbers are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.
- If you sign up for the free sample pack or buy a course, that happens on Richard's own sites, under their privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are read and where visitors come from. It doesn't use cookies or fingerprinting, and it records only overall figures such as page views, the referring site, browser and device type, and country. It can't be used to identify you or follow you across other sites.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Sign-ups and the free sample pack
The sign-up buttons take you to Richard's sign-up page at pages.richardpryn.com. Your name and email are collected there, not on this site, and are used to send you the free sample pack and Richard's emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Buying a course
Courses are bought on Richard's course site, courses.richardpryn.com. Payment and account details are handled there.
Sign-ups and purchases are covered by the richardpryn.com privacy policy.
Videos
Product cards show video thumbnails loaded from YouTube's image servers, so your browser contacts Google when they appear. Videos on product pages use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only load when you press play. From then on, Google's privacy policy applies.
The course introduction video is hosted by Richard's course platform and loads only when you press play.
Links to other sites
Listings link to developers' and stores' own sites, which have their own privacy policies. Some links may be affiliate links. If you follow one, the store may set a cookie on its own site so the referral can be credited. See the affiliate disclosure.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data is held about you, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing [email protected]. If you're in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
