A pocket-sized, battery-powered wide-band receiver (SOMA calls it an 'anti-radio') that makes the electromagnetic fields around electrical devices audible. It senses magnetic and electric fields, has two external antenna pins, regeneration and volume wheels, and a mono signal on a 3.5 mm output.

How to use it in horror

Walk it slowly past a laptop, phone charger or fluorescent light to capture buzzing, chattering interference, then slow and layer the recordings as 'presence' sounds for a haunting or possession scene.
