Voxpat Pro

A standalone application that layers up to 12 effects (convolution, procedural and synthesis processes) over a microphone, up to three audio files or a virtual instrument to build creature and robot voices. It includes 66 presets and 154 animal, human and Foley samples, with layer export and batch processing.

How to use it in horror

Record a line of dialogue with the built-in recorder, layer animal-throat convolution and ring modulation over it, then export each layer separately to mix a demonic voice under the score.
