Horror springs 1

An instrument bank of 10 multi-octave patches made by bowing springs and metal objects, then resampled and layered with physical-modelling emulations. Patch names include Fear pad, Lost souls and Chainsaw atmosphere. It has LFO, filter, reverb, envelope and glide controls.

How to use it in horror

Hold a 'Fear pad' chord low in the register for a scraping, metallic bed, then sweep the low-pass filter open as the scene turns.
