PaulXStretch

A free app and plugin for extreme time stretching, based on the PaulStretch algorithm, made for radical transformation rather than subtle correction. It can stretch audio into hours-long ambient textures.

How to use it in horror

Stretch a recorded door creak or a short choir phrase by 50x or more into a slow, shifting drone bed that sits under dialogue for a whole scene.
