Old Busted Granny Piano

A sampled old, untuned upright piano with sticky keys and broken strings, in tuned and untuned versions, with separate string and key release samples, pedal noise, sound effects and 20 ambient pads. It has 769 stereo samples and 21 Kontakt presets (full Kontakt 6.6), 1.75 GB installed.

How to use it in horror

Play a simple music-box style melody on the untuned patch for a haunted-house or abandoned-childhood motif, letting the mechanical key noises and release thuds stay exposed.
