TensionDark Atmospheres
A free Kontakt Player library of cinematic sounds drawn from ProjectSAM's catalogue, recorded in a concert hall: string staccatos, horns, brass clusters, choirs, percussion and drones. The tech specs list 16 instruments and 10 multis, 1.8 GB uncompressed (920 MB on disk), Kontakt 6.6.
How to use it in horror
Use a drone or brass-cluster patch as a cheap, quick tension bed when sketching a horror cue, then add string staccatos for a nervous pulse.
