Eerie Forest

Thirty night-time forest ambiences (over 154 minutes, 24-bit/96 kHz WAV, stereo and surround) recorded in dense forests in Transylvania and Moldova, Romania, in 2017. The recordings are soft and subtle, with wind, rustling, distant dogs, church bells, owls, ravens and woodcocks, and some have a faint distant hum.

How to use it in horror

Place a distant owl and dog-bark bed under a sparse solo-violin line in a rural-horror cue so the music sits in a real, isolated space rather than a dry studio.
